Seany is getting tubes in his ears.
Thursday, December 13Th. We don't know what time his surgery will be, but it will be the 13Th. I wanted to do it when my parents are here so I can just focus on Sean. The surgery takes a minute and a half per ear, but the prep stuff takes longer.
The gunk levels in his ears increased again. And the surgeon can tell by the color that its really old, like a year plus.
Sean should be able to hear better right away. And some kids can play and act totally normal the same day. Others need a little more time to recover.
The tubes should stay in for 18 months to 2 years. We don't know if he'll need another set after they fall out. No special concerns regarding bathing or swimming YET.
So, it will cost:
$600 deductible + 20% of everything else.
I'm figuring about $1000. GREAT TIMING!
But it will be worth it when Sean can hear or when we find out his hearing problem is some other kind of issue.
Slow Start
