Thank you to Uncle Jason

and Eddie House (#50) of the Boston Celtics for getting Alex (and Mark) a ticket to the game against the Jazz last night.

Alex had the best time ever and now is an even bigger fan of the Celtics than he was of the Jazz. He's happy to cheer for both teams (since they're in different groups/conferences/whatevers) and since Eddie got him tickets, Eddie has trumped Andre Kirlenko (#47) of the Utah Jazz as Alex's favorite player.

"Andre Kirlenko is my favorite Jazz player. Eddie House is my favorite basketball player of all the teams and all the players. Maybe I can have his jersey too?" (He slyly posed the question.)

Mark suggested we get his basketball card and ask Uncle Jason about getting it signed. "Well, I still would want to have his jersey, so he'll know I hope he wins and shoots more 3 point shots (Eddie shot 3 for 3 during the game). Maybe Uncle Jason can come too next time."

Alex sledding down the hill

Alex in black on his sled.

Yes, he lays down on that thing for maximum speed.

Climbing back up.

Mugging for the camera.

Jazmine saucering down

Jazzy is in white getting on the saucer.

Almost to the bottom.

She hit the bumper at the bottom of the hill!

Smiling for the camera.

Kiddie Games

Ryan is wearing like 12 wrist bands.

Seany dumped his goldfish, while Jazmine & Alex try to play Big Brain and Andrew acts as time keeper.

Ryan liked his ranch dressing.

21!

More 21!

Basketball

Ryan mugging.

Seany trying to get a ball to play with from Ryan's grip.

Hockey

The day's big hit.

Seany is sitting in a chair.

Shark ATTACK

Andrew chasing his shark.

Andrew's almost caught it.

Finally, trimuph. "Let's do that again."

Presents & Aftermath

Alex got Guitar Hero 2. Though its not the 3 -- he doesn't seem to care.

Andy got the "Pirate thing from Costco" he wanted. Storybooks and telescope and compass and viewer images.

Yes, that is a mess -- just imagine if we hadn't been putting the paper in the big bag as we went along.

Practice makes perfect.

Breakfast

Giant Cinnamon Rolls -- Seany licking his icing.

Andy & Alex.

Ryan wasn't sure how to tackle this breakfast.

Presents

A present from Uncle Steve. OK, this is super fun. Andy & I were playing this for a long time today.

Andy gave me COOKIES!

A Big Brain game for the Big Brain.

The twix wanted me to be part of their moment -- I think these were the song kits I made them.

Presents

Seany and Daddy working together.

Seany wanted me to open his movie right then.

Alex got his TRANSFORMERS!

Opening a gift from Steve. GIANT CAR, its been RODE all over the house.

Ryan seriously opening "Pay-DO.

First Reactions

Alex didn't really believe it was possible. He was very nervous!

Sean in red & Ryan in green on the other hand, went to straight to the blocks.

And tore them down! Andy said, "Hey, Santa made that castle for us!"

Getting snack & drink for S A N T A

Yes, those cool dudes put out GIANT brownies and a Coca-Cola Classic.

After 3 hours, we were ready to head to bed.

Alex and Andy's big surprise. Lots of people asked about the hockey table. When Mark was at Target, way back in March, we got it for $15 (discounted from Xmas 2006) and saved it for today.

Sean & Ryan's big surprise, the blocks! Their was an error in the assembly of one trike, so they don't get those for xmas. They will still get them, I just didn't want them to fight over one all day.

Christmas Eve

Sean, Andy, Alex, and RyGuy -- the line up. I'd ask Alex to kneel so he would be closer to the rest of the heads, so Seany and Andy kneeled too.

Waiting for a table at Chili's -- Thank you Sweetie!

Still waiting...

Andy, Ryan, Alex and Mark holding Seany reading the Twas the Night before Christmas.

Just before leaving for church...

It started snowing. It was snowing so hard, Mark & I decided against driving down the freeway to church. We just went to dinner and came home.

Upon arriving home 2 hours later, you can't see where the walkway is at all.

Art time

Getting Ready for Mr. Claus

Making Santa's brownies. For the first year in 8 years (Alex's first Christmas we didn't do a Santa plate), Santa is not getting cookies. Our cookie sheets were ruined so he's getting brownies.

Alex took a lot of time to write the right letter to Santa.

Andrew spent a lot of time making a picture for Santa.

Ryan spent a lot of time crying about the whole making anything for Santa.

When he'd recovered, he and Sean spent a little time making pictures for Santa.
