This is our "new" table. We have an actual antique -- this baby was made in the 1890s. The table has a leaf at each end that comes up for when we have guests.
Sean kept saying, "Thank you for my table, Mommy." Then he tried to bring the collander full of grapes over to munch. (Seany in blue, Ryan in orange)
The chairs were custom made 20 or 30 years ago. This is an example of a true find on craigslist, $250 for all of it! Mark loves the price too, he thought it cost $500! Mark looked at me and smiled and said, "Its a dream come true for Mommy. She finally has a dining room." He hit the nail on the head, I'm in love. I wouldn't have necessarily chosen this style but not being a fool, I love it now. Next we need to sell our china closet and get one that matches our new table!

Very nice piece, and as an antique, that price is an absolute steal...
You just can't get that kind of quality with so much of the stuff that is carried by the big-box furniture sellers these days.
