During Boys Scouts

I try to come up with something fun and different for Andrew to do. I usually set the twix up with a movie or favorite tv show. Usually it involves cooking as Andrew is an ameteur chef.

Today, we did caramel apples. But, I forgot a step in my zeal to not forget the later steps. So the caramel was too thick. Next time, we will add the water to the caramel and it will be a glorious apple to caramel to chocolate chip texture.

The point is not to make culinary masterpieces but for Andrew to have something special and fun to do. So it worked.

Today, the twins got in on the action and the three amigos are at the table finishing off the toppings -- chocolate chips and m&ms.
